AI-based models to identify and precisely quantify steatosis, lobular inflammation, and ballooning. Data are reported as precise percentages or cells per unit area, and can be translated into the more traditional NAFLD Activity Score.
NAFLD ACTIVITY SCORE (0-8) = Steatosis (0-3) + Lobular Inflammation (0-3) + Hepatocellular Ballooning (0-2)
Data reported includes total steatosis plus micro- and macro-vesicular steatosis.
Lobular inflammation including inflammatory cells per mm2.
Hepatocellular ballooning reported as mild, medium or severe and also expressed as a percentage of cells per cm2.
AI-based models to identify and quantify liver fibrosis including a precise percentage as well as the traditional fibrosis score. Rodent and human models are available. Quantitative fibrosis scores can be calculated from Masson’s Trichrome or Picrosirius Red stains.
